We are so glad you are interested in GFCS!
New members are always welcome - it's a wonderful way to make new friends and get to know your community. Students are welcome, seniors are welcome, and everyone in between is, too. You do not need to be able to read music, just have a desire to join other voices in song!
Rehearsals are usually held on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 in the Band Room at Grand Forks Secondary School. For any changes, please refer to this Rehearsal Schedule link.
Membership fee is $35 (Students $10), and goes towards the cost of music, space rental, accompaniement, guest performers, donations, scholarships, Director fee, decorations, insurance, and more. The Board works hard to keep costs down!
As we are a Registered Society in BC, we have an elected Board of Directors, who all volunteer their time to recruit, promote and improve the GFCS every year - we'd love to have you volunteer!
